2021 - 2025, Bowling pins
The bowling pin is an exploration into form and the spiritual realm. Through creative understanding of the metaphysical aspects of bowling, the pin and sport become a vehicle for the exploration of psychological and spiritual concerns such as "release", "rebirth", and the Buddhist concept of "bodhicitta".

2021 - 2023, Trees
Rooted in the Body: In December 2021, in East River Park in New York City, while looking at the bare branch structures of a grove of oak trees, I saw within the branch structure, my physiological structure of the nervous system. The tree became a surrogate form for the human body. I turned to a friend and said, "I am the tree, and the tree is me!" - I soon after began painting trees that look like body parts. The tree, in relation to the body and soul, is a symbol of slow, powerful, involuntary growth.
